Open Question: yellow aqaurium water?
I've got a 112L tank, that has been working great for freshwater tropical fish, I had set this tank up in April and since then its been great. But, for the past 2 weeks, the water had gone from clear to a greenish-yellow tint. At first I thought it was the aqaurium sand I had bought, so I changed the sand to gravel. I have been doing water changes, checked and replaced filters. There's no ammonia, I did a test about 10 minutes ago its sitting at 0 ppm, I did the pH test; that was a tiny bit high, but I've used lil' ph adjuster. Currently there are: 2 gold goramis 3 sunburst mollies 2 blue goramis 6 neon tetras 1 pleco Any ideas/advice to why the water is this colour? Oh, I only do once day feedings for the fish and 1 algae disk for the pleco (which he sucks right up) no jack daniels (at least none I'm aware of) It is clean & fresh water, I just did a water change two days ago. A new tank? there nothing wrong with this tank. Its the water in question I've cleaned the walls; I've bought a algae scrubber There's no driftwood in the tank. No plants.
Open Question: I have a tropical fish tank, is there any crabs or lobsters or anything similar I can have with my fish?

	I've got a 112L tank, that has been working great for freshwater tropical fish, I had set this tank up in April and since then its been great.

But, for the past 2 weeks, the water had gone from clear to a greenish-yellow tint. At first I thought it was the aqaurium sand I had bought, so I changed the sand to gravel.
I have been doing water changes, checked and replaced filters.

There's no ammonia, I did a test about 10 minutes ago its sitting at 0 ppm, I did the pH test; that was a tiny bit high, but I've used lil' ph adjuster.
